3587 AC Motor Yacht

At first appearance, the Bayliner 3587 Motor Yacht appears to be a relatively straightforward 35-foot aft-cabin design with little to differentiate her from other small motor yachts. Looks can be deceiving—the 3587 provides three staterooms where her competitors offered only two. The third stateroom is located beneath the (elevated) dinette, and while it’s not really a full-size cabin, there is a roomy double berth and partial standing headroom along with a privacy door and a large hanging locker. To accomplish this innovative floorplan, Bayliner engineers moved the galley up into the salon and employed a rather awkward combination of three doors forward leading to the two staterooms and the head. If the salon dimensions seem limited, the owner’s aft cabin is surprisingly comfortable and includes a walkaround double berth, vanity, and a private head with separate stall shower. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, standard lower helm, teak interior trim, generator, and swim platform.
